Colin E. Davis

I am a founding member and songwriter for the American death metal band VILE (1996-present). I am also the co-founder of The 01EXPERIENCE and DEPROGRAMATRIX with Melissa Mari.

I began playing guitar at age 13. My grandfather was a New Orleans jazz musician and band manager who brought top quality jazz to Asian audiences in the 1950’s and ‘60’s. Like him, I also assemble top quality bands and take them around the world, only my style of choice is extreme metal! :-)

Producer-Engineer

I have been an audiophile since high school, but my career as an audio engineer came about as an adjunct to my work as a musician. Since 1996, I have focused on recording, mixing and mastering heavy metal bands. I operate the Imperial Mastering studio, formerly in the California Bay Area, now in Buda, Central TX.
